Interested in other GLBTQ leagues around the United States and Canada?
The national governing bodies associated with the Cactus Cities softball league is the North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA) for the open division and the Amateur Sports Alliance of North America (ASANA) for the women's division. NAGAAA, established in 1977, has a current membership that includes over 680 teams from 37 leagues throughout the United States and Canada. Similarly ASANA, being a part of NAGAAA since 1985 and now seperate since 2007, boasts teams in its 26 members cities throughout the United States. Teams representing these leagues participate annually in Gay Softball World Series (GSWS), hosted each year by a different member city.
Most of the NAGAAA/ASANA member cities/leagues found below host tournaments throughout the year, similar to our Saguaro Cup here in Phoenix, as well as sending teams to the GSWS. Feel free to visit their websites for more information about other leagues that compete nationally in NAGAAA/ASANA sanctioned events. CCSL is proud to send teams to various tournaments throughout the US to represent our member city, promote amateur athletics and sportsmanship, and educate people about gay softball. Each league is listed alphabetically by city for your convenience.
If you league is not listed above, please let us know.
