Cactus Cities Softball League | The Premier Softball League in the Southwest

Tournaments

The purpose of CCSL is to foster local, regional, national and international sports competition predominately for gay, lesbian athletes. In so doing, we encourage all of the teams within our league to travel nationally/internationally to complete in ASANA/NAGAAA sanctioned events, especially the Gay Softball World Series (GSWS). Considering the GSWS is the pinnacle achievement of our league, you must earn the right to compete in this annual event by earning a berth within the local league. Berths are given based on the total number of teams in the league and decided by the team with the top record within divisional play during a competitive season. Details of this year's GSWS can be found below.

We are very proud to have a league that is competitive on a national level. We continually strive to challenge all of our members to improve themselves on and off the field, travel to tournaments to compete representing their teams, CCSL, and themselves, and above all show good sportsmanship. The table below is a short list that highlights some of the tournaments that are held around the nation each year.
